Endoscopy Pre-owned Program
Only the best pre-owned products qualify for the Endoscopy's Pre-owned
Program. Products must pass an extensive examination. All products
are inspected, and refurbished and meet the high standards established
by Smith & Nephew for all its products. The rigorous inspection
includes product for safety, performance, and quality standards.
Protection Plan
Every product is supported by our manufacturer's warranty, which provides coverage of a pre-owned
product for three months. Best of all, the manufacturer's warranty, which begins on the date
of shipment, is administered by Smith & Nephew, ensuring that covered repairs are performed
by one of our trained technicians and that all products are restored to their original specifications.
30 Days Out of Box Failure
If a unit does not function within 30 days of shipment, Smith
and Nephew will pay for return shipping and will also ship you a replacement
unit upon receipt of the defective unit. Shipping will be economy
class and insured. Customers must contact our customer
service department to obtain an return authorization
number and arrange for pickup within thirty days of shipment. When
you contact us please have available the following:
A.
Your Smith & Nephew customer number
B. Model
of the product.
C. Serial Number of the product.
D. Purchase order number.
Smith & Nephew
will issue a return authorization number (R.A. number). Please attach
correspondence identifying the problem and the R.A. number. Ship to
the appropriate Service Center listed on the customer
service page. To ensure proper receipt of your defective unit,
please be sure that the R.A. number is clearly marked on the outside
of the shipping container as well as inside on the enclosed paperwork.
Light guides, lamps, cords, and batteries are not repairable items.
Product Repairs
In the event you have equipment that needs to be repaired, you should
contact customer service
to obtain a Return Authorization Number. After receiving a Return
Authorization number you must, at your expense, deliver or ship the
product to Smith and Nephew. If shipped, you are responsible for insuring
your shipment. All items included with the original package must be
returned (cables, manuals). Cartons shipped to Smith and Nephew not
meeting these conditions may be refused at our shipping docks.
